Christopher ‘Kolpeace’ Johnson – Painting Performance

Join Christopher ‘Kolpeace’ Johnson at the Keswick Wise & Well Center for a live painting performance!

Watch a painting be created in real time!

Keswick Wise & Well is proud to share the work of Christopher ‘Kolpeace’ Johnson. Using music, flame, spray paint, brush painting, and raw speed to create moments of dynamic and expressive portraiture on wooden panel, Kolpeace can create a fully realized painting in minutes. Sometimes working from life, sometimes from pure imagination, his live painting performances exude the raw joy of artmaking, and a passion for the Baltimore Community.

Our actual performance will be about 8 – 10 minutes, with a brief introduction to begin and then conclusion and close up looks at the end. We hope you choose to join us for this awesome event, and experience the creativity of an amazing Community Artist. Please be aware: Kolpeace uses controlled flame as part of his performances. Keswick has prepared with the artist to take appropriate safety precautions.
