Join artist and guest instructor Francisco Loza for this incredible three-part workshop focused on Arte en Estambre, an artistic technique that incorporates yarn and wax to create vibrant compositions full of texture and color! Francisco Loza has spent two decades collaborating with Huichol artists and their communities in Mexico, where he learned the Arte en Estambre technique. His artworks have been featured at various museums and art institutions, including the American Visionary Art Museum, Creative Alliance, the Studios at Key West, and the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC. Join Francisco as he guides class participants through the meditative process of creating these dynamic yarn works and making something beautiful!
