Explore the history of musical scores from some of your favorite films and learn about some of the current composers who are helping shape the way stories are told in movies. You may choose to attend Live or Virtually.

May 3: Score vs Soundtrack
Gain a better understanding of the different types of music featured in movies and what it takes to create a brilliant film score.
May 24: Musicals
From Rodgers and Hammerstein to Lin Manuel Miranda, look back at how Musicals made their way from Broadway to the silver screen and discuss why there has been a revival of movie musicals in the past few years.
June 28: Animated Film Scores
From Disney to DreamWorks and Pixar to Studio Ghibli, animated films are loved by people of all ages. Music and scoring are a key component of most animation. Take a closer look at how the music adds to the magic of your favorite animated films.
