Gain a better understanding of the different types of music featured in movies and what it takes to create a brilliant film score.
May 24: Musicals
From Rodgers and Hammerstein to Lin Manuel Miranda, look back at how Musicals made their way from Broadway to the silver screen and discuss why there has been a revival of movie musicals in the past few years.
June 28: Animated Film Scores
From Disney to DreamWorks and Pixar to Studio Ghibli, animated films are loved by people of all ages. Music and scoring are a key component of most animation. Take a closer look at how the music adds to the magic of your favorite animated films.
