Using various forms of printmaking including monotype and collagraphs, participants of this dynamic class will explore the concept of Maps and Map-Making! Conceptually, maps present a vital and exciting topic to work from. Maps often serve as our guides to move forward, to safely explore, and to find adventure. Through a combination of experimental art tools and print-making techniques, participants will explore how to make various marks and gestures with ink, as they form their own artistic adventure with our facilitator, David Cunningham. Through socially distanced collaboration, discussions, and supportive critique, participants printed works will be assembled to create their very own map on the final day of class!
