Guided imagery is a form of focused relaxation that helps create harmony between the mind and body. It is a way of focusing your imagination to create calm, peaceful images in your mind, providing a “mental escape.” Participants will call in to class and a facilitator will guide you through spoken instruction that may generate memories, thoughts, tastes, smells, emotions, or feelings to help relax and refocus your mind and body.
