BALTIMORE (August 17, 2016) – Carmel Roques, CEO of Keswick, a campus and community-based healthcare organization in Baltimore, has been appointed to the Maryland Commission on Aging. The Maryland Commission on Aging, appointed by Governor Larry Hogan, is a proactive body that provides statewide leadership on diverse senior issues and advocates for practical solutions.
Roques is an accomplished health care executive with more than 30 years’ experience leading and repositioning senior living organizations. Her areas of expertise include community health, palliative care, strategic planning, organizational development and culture change, with clinical expertise in brain health and dementia. She is a licensed nursing home administrator (Maryland and Virginia) and licensed clinical social worker.
Roques was sworn in to this appointed position on August 1, 2016.
