Live a Healthier You Series – A Diabetes Prevention Program

  • SERIES Begins: February 7, 2017, 1:00 – 2:00 pm
  • Year-long program focused on long-term changes and lasting results
  • This is a program of the CDC
  • One hour per weekly class for 16 weeks; then, one -two hours/month for six months
  • Participants: Are diagnosed with pre-diabetes or at risk for diabetes
  • Description: Sessions tailored and adapted to match attendees background, interests, and needs. Positive lifestyle changes such as healthy eating, increased physical activity, and losing weight lowers the risk of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes and improves your overall well-being and the well-being of your family.
