Engage in a lively discussion on the themes, characters, and plot of the book Homegoing, by Yaa Gyasi. Homegoing is a fictitious historical novel that follows the descendants of two half-sisters born in Ghana. The story highlights social issues such as colonialism, imperialism, and slavery while following seven generations of a family split in two. Book is available through Enoch Pratt Free Library, Libby app, and most book sellers. Facilitator: Skylar Moore. You may choose to attend Live or Virtually.
