A full-body workout designed to increase endurance, strength, and balance, while also improving your independence in everyday activities. The first half of the class focuses on strength and balance, while dynamic and static stretches improve your flexibility and mobility in the 2nd half of class. Participants must be able to get onto the floor. Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate Level. Recommended Equipment: Weights, non-rolling chair, and a yoga mat. (Please note: No class 6/19/2025)

You understand that the threat of a fall is often a “game changer” and can be a barrier to doing activities you enjoy at home and in your community. This fall-prevention course provides opportunities to increase awareness to reduce your risk of falling by improving strength and balance, evaluating home hazards, and medication management to live well at home and in your community. This is a 7-week series produced by the Wisconsin Institute for Healthy Aging Curriculum. (Note: No class on 5/26/2025)
